Terms of Service

Effective September 22, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of bonaveniunt.com and services provided by Bona Veniunt LLC (“Bona Veniunt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the website or purchasing services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Services and Engagement Terms

Bona Veniunt provides cybersecurity consulting and educational career coaching and mentoring. The exact scope, deliverables, schedule, price, and client responsibilities may be stated in a checkout page, proposal, statement of work, order form, or other written agreement. If an engagement document conflicts with these Terms, the engagement document controls for that engagement.

Coaching and mentoring are educational services and are not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, employment-placement, or recruiting services. Cybersecurity work is limited to the systems, dates, methods, and authorization stated in the written scope.

Client Responsibilities

We may pause or end work when authorization is unclear, conditions create unreasonable risk, payment is overdue, or these Terms are violated.

Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

Prices and payment timing are shown before purchase or stated in the engagement document. Payments may be processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. You authorize the charges you approve and are responsible for applicable taxes unless the transaction states otherwise.

Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms shown at checkout or in the engagement document apply to the purchase. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method. Processing and bank timelines can affect when a refund appears.

Confidentiality and Security

Each party will use reasonable care to protect nonpublic information received through an engagement and will use it only to perform or receive the services, enforce agreements, or comply with law. This does not cover information that is public without breach, independently developed, already lawfully known, or lawfully received from another source.

No security assessment eliminates all risk. Findings describe the tested scope and conditions at the time of the work. Systems, threats, and configurations can change after delivery.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of materials you provide. Bona Veniunt retains its pre-existing methods, tools, templates, software, know-how, and general skills. Ownership and permitted use of engagement-specific deliverables are governed by the applicable engagement document. Website content may not be copied, sold, or republished except as allowed by law or with written permission.

Third-Party Services

The website and engagements may use third-party hosting, email, scheduling, video, payment, or software services. Those providers control their services and may apply separate terms. We are not responsible for a third party's independent acts, outages, or policy changes.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, a particular security outcome, employment, promotion, compensation, certification, business result, or elimination of all vulnerabilities. Any specific service warranty must be stated in a signed engagement document.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity arising from the website or services. Bona Veniunt's aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the service giving rise to that claim. These limits do not apply where applicable law prohibits them or where a signed engagement document expressly provides otherwise.

Governing Law and Changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Applicable consumer protections remain in effect. We may update these Terms as the website and services change; the effective date identifies the current version. Changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise.
